About this policy

This policy explains how SOULDOUT handles information when you visit souldout.online or contact us. The website currently previews our clothing collection. Checkout, online payments, customer accounts and email signup are not enabled.

Information you provide

If you email us, we receive your email address and the name, message, attachments and other information you choose to send. We use this information to answer your enquiry, provide requested support and keep relevant correspondence. Please do not send payment details, identification documents or other sensitive information that we have not requested. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Your preview bag and browser storage

The preview bag saves selected product identifiers, sizes and quantities in local storage on your device under the key souldout-bag-v2. This helps retain your selection between visits. The storefront code does not send this bag data to SOULDOUT. It remains until you remove the items or clear the site data in your browser; your browser may also remove it. Clearing site data resets your saved selection.

Technical information and cookies

Our hosting and security providers, including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps and security events to deliver and protect the website. They may use operational or security cookies. The current storefront code does not include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or other advertising trackers. Google Search Console is used to understand our appearance in Google Search; it does not require a visitor tracking script on this site. You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings, although restrictions may affect website functions.

Service providers and sharing

We use website hosting, security and email services to operate SOULDOUT. Correspondence sent to our Gmail address is processed through Google. Providers may process information to supply their services and under their own applicable policies. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when legally required, to respond to valid legal requests, or as permitted by applicable law to protect rights and address security or misuse.

Processing outside Canada

Our service providers may process or store information outside Canada. Information processed in another country may be subject to that country’s laws and lawful access by its courts or public authorities.

Instagram, TikTok and external links

Our Instagram and TikTok links open external services. Those platforms handle your information under their own privacy policies when you visit or interact with them. The current website uses ordinary links rather than embedded social feeds or social tracking pixels.

Retention and security

We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up, resolve disputes or meet applicable legal obligations. Provider logs and backups may follow their own retention schedules. We aim to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved; no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may contact us to request access to or correction of personal information we hold, ask about its use or sharing, request deletion, or withdraw consent where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for legal or other permitted reasons. We may reasonably verify your identity and will explain any applicable limits. Requests are handled within the time required by applicable law. Clear browser site data to remove the locally stored preview bag. You may also raise unresolved concerns with the privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction.

Children

This preview is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.

Updates

We will update this policy as the store develops, including before introducing checkout, email subscriptions or additional tracking. Where required, we will provide notice and obtain consent for new uses of personal information. The date below identifies the latest update.
